In 570 A.D. Yemen, the tyrant ruler Abraha leads his army of elephants to destroy God’s House, the Ka’ba in the Holy city of Makkah 🕋

On laylatul Qadr, the 27th night of Ramadan 1442, May 2021, another army storms God’s House, Masjid al-Aqsa, in the Holy city of Jerusalem 🕌🇵🇸

We find history repeating itself in a painful way, yet we are given all the tools we need to overcome the oppressors.

As we near the completion of the Qur’an with the close of Ramadan, Juz 30, the final chapter, Juz Amma, is also known as the Juz of Victory 🌟

In it, Allah swt reminds the Prophet (PBUH) of how He got him (PBUH) through the hard times. So too, can we be comforted to continue to Praise and Glorify Allah, and be certain that victory is coming and to remain hopeful insha’Allah.

Let us take lessons from Abdul Mutalib, who was armed with only prayers and his faith and trust in God to save the Holy House, and know that we too must continue to pray to be granted some unexpected miracles along the way 🤲🏼

Please continue to remember and pray for our Palestinian brothers and sisters and all of those facing oppression beyond Ramadan. May Allah swt accept and grant victory. Ameen
